| Exotic Chile Peppers grown in the Livermore Wine growing region in Northern California |
| Welcome to ICEDOG Chile Peppers. We are
a small hobby farm growing extremely hot Chile Peppers and producing dried
peppers, Powders, seeds and Infused Oils. At the moment 100% of the
crop is consumed by us or by our friends. In the future we hope to be able
to expand to actually sell some of our crops. The majority of our growing
over the past few years has been experimental to see which crops grow best
in our area and the best techniques to get a great harvest with the absolute
minimum of pesticides. We have been very successful with the hotter C.Annum
varieties but up to now we have had limited success with the Insanely
Hot C.Chinense varieties. This season will be another experimental season to try to figure out the secrets of the superhots. |

| 2:05:09: I am very late starting with the seed planting this season but I received some Naga seeds from a fellow chile grower on the internet on Monday so I pre-soaked the seeds and planted them into the mini heated greenhouse this evening. I also planted some White Habanero, Chocolate Habanero and Fatalli seeds that were OP from last seasons crops. Fingers crossed that something sprouts. I am always a bit nervous at relying upon just seeds so I placed an order for some live plants from Cross Country Nurseries. Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 Live Plants Delivery Week: 4/20/2009 |

For 2009 the main varieties grown will be Bhut Jolokia, Naga Morich and Trinidad Scorpion. We are also planning to start trying to grow our own Olive's to make Olive Oil. This year I am trying to cut down on the number of varieties (Last year was insane). |
