The walk is open to any Samoyeds and owners. It is a social event rather than a working dog event. Please notice that all dogs must be leashed. I plan to take lots of pictures.
We had Four Sams, a Horse and seven people turn up for the walk.

Had another ride round the trail and re-measured it to be 3.3 miles. Trail is drying nicely even after the recent rains.

I went for a Mountain Bike Ride round the route today to check how the trails had held up to the winter rains. The trails seem to have drained very well and there was only two slightly muddy patches that could easily be avoided. My goal is to keep the Sams as clean and dry as possible.

After discussion amongst ourselves we have decided to open up the Hike to other local clubs. We have also decided to have a potluck after the walk.
